Afrocat has curated her first compilation album from her travels to Ghana & Ethiopia to celebrate her 25th year as a DJ, due for release in March 2026.
A magical, soft golden sunset last night at Es Vedra. I played a few select tunes as the sun went down…naturally…so humbled someone said after that the sunset + my tunes was like ‘floating in paradise’. I will never forget that!! How special 💝 I LOVE that I am on earth to be a channel for beautiful music that moves souls and spirits. I’m just a channel in a catsuit! 😻 Went so well yesterday at my gig @grb_ibiza that I’m part of the family now, and back again spinning today for their season closing party!! So this fantastic record store & event space will be hosting a launch party for Lost Tracks Records and the release in question…one ‘Accra to Addis’ compilation.
If you’ve followed @afrocatmusic on her vintage music-hunting adventures in Ghana & Ethiopia, you’ll know the album showcases these very precious sounds
It was quite a trip, and so we’ll be doing a little Q&A hosted by the talent of @outerglobe who’ll sure to get down to the good bits
A listening party ensues
The limited edition vinyl is going down very well, you’ll be able to get yours on the night, if you’d like one while they’re still available

We’re delighted to welcome our first guest DJ to the decks at @ilmaremmano_brixton on 28 Feb – the intergalactic and Afro futuristic sounds of @afrocatmusic.
Afrocat is a DJ, radio show hostess, and runs Lost Tracks Records, an independent reissue label, launching their first limited edition vinyl compilation release on Feb 27th!
Her style is eclectic, spanning continents, eras, and genres; and she flows between them with ease, skill, and undeniable groove.
Expect jazz-funk of the highest order, seasoned with Afro, gospel, blues, and blaxploitation.
